Ably Resources are exclusively representing a Global Multinational client who specialize within the Design, Manufacturing, and Production of Subsea Equipment.

Due to constant expansion, continuing projects and new project wins the client now requires a QHSE Engineer to be based in their Dubai Office.

Reporting directly to the Senior Q.A you will be part of the OHSE department.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

•Ensuring all HSE risks are identified and managed within all company project activities in order to ensure a high quality and safe project execution.
•Full Supervision of HSE on shop floor.
•Ensure the implementation of best practices in accordance with QHSE procedures and policies in all work activities.
•Continually considering ways for the improvement of HSE performance.
•Provide HSE support and advice to all functions.
•Responsible for the promotion and planning of HSE awareness within the organisation.
•Accident Reporting.
•Responsible for the waste management disposal.
•Induction to safety and control to visitors and sub-contractors.
•Comply with safety and quality according to statutory and regulatory requirements
•Updating project log book.
•Maintain records and co-ordinate the action plan as part of the observation system.
•Organising the HSE meeting every month
•Preparation of Risk Assessment
•Designing the HSE sign boards
•Coordinating and maintaining with TPI for all equipment on a regular basis.
•Approve and renew government authority certificates.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Preferred
Degree/Diploma in HSE or similar discipline
IOSH Trained

Experience

Essential

Over 4 years experience within Oil and Gas Operations
HSE audit and investigation skills
Strong working knowledge of HSE Codes and Legal requirements
Workshop floor experience is essential.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
