Job description / Role
Establish, document, implement and maintain the HSE Project Plan.
Report to the Project Director / Function Senior Manager on the performance of the Project HSE management system and recommend any need for improvement.
Promote awareness of legal and other HSE requirements throughout the project organization.
Liaise and partner with other disciplines within the PJM team and with other relevant external departments/offices to ensure HSE requirements are address in all project delivery life cycle.
Monitor the proper implementation of the HSE mitigation measures and auditing plans
Regular review of the HSE report prepared by the Consultant/Contractor that summarizes HSE activities performed on each project.
Coordinate with QA/QC Managers on Environment Managers on related issues
Conduct the periodic Project Management Review and distribute the summary report to the Project Management Team
Carry out First and Second Party Quality Audits as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of overall work experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role
Be familiar with the HSE requirements of local legislation, international best practice and standards.
Must be Arabic Speaker
