QMS Officer

Job description / Role

- Development of Quality Management System in line with ISO standards and good business practices within our Natural Gas Division to meet the requirements of the Natural Gas Distribution business.
- Lead ISO certification projects.
- Responsible for Business Process Documentation. Supports in development of writing and documentation of business procedures in line with requirement of standards and good practices.
- Develop a robust document control framework for quality documentation, document control practices, to manage documents, records, forms, and work instructions in line with standards and best practices.
- Lead quality audits and process audits programs including ISO audits
- Responsible for effective implementation of all quality assurance activities in NGD to ensure compliance to ISO standards or any other quality standards adopted by the company.
- Monitor and advise on how the QMS is performing and publishes data and reports regarding company performance against set indicators.
- Report quality performance trends to the management team including major issues which could affect business performance.
- Advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
- Ensuring the QMS is subject to continuous improvement and overseeing the proper corrective action system.

Requirements

- Bachelors in Engineering with relevant QA certifications.
- Must have extensive QMS experience from an ISO Certified company.
- Must have Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Downstream natural gas industry experience would be an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
