QSHE Representative

Job description / Role

- Overseas activities related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Food Safety, Promote Food Safety, Environment and work safety programs in compliance with company and local regulations;
- Trains and educates employees on Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Food Safety standards and regulations;
- Ensures compliance and execution of QSHE standards set by the customer(s);
- Implements and maintains ISO certification ;
- Leads, investigates and administers claims, accidents, incidents, complaints, customer complaints and non-conformity process;
- Maintains Document Control System;
- Implements and maintains Food Storage & Distribution Quality related standards on site;
- Drafts and implements QSHE Working Instructions and SOPs for warehouse(s)/site;
- Carries out internal audit and ensures full compliance with standards;
- Follows up on corrective/preventive actions post audit within agreed timelines;
- Conducts Risk Assessment/Gap Analysis/Root Cause Analysis as and when necessary and requested by Management, reports findings and suggests corrective/preventive actions; works towards elimination of identified risks;
- Prepares and implements HACCP plan in accordance with global HACCP standards;
- Health monitoring and health surveillance, prepares monthly HSE statistics and reports;
- Provides guidance to all worksite personnel(s) on matters related to HSE; conducts Safety Induction and fire drills for new workers, staffs and management;
- Implement and monitor waste management system and housekeeping systems;
- Conduct and coordinate Emergency procedures;
- Draft and submit periodic reports and analysis as and when requested by the Management.

Requirements

- Min of 3 - 5 years experience in logistic operations with dangerous goods/food items;
- Relevant University Degree/Diploma;
- Excellent knowledge of legal matters governing safety, health and environment;
- Excellent knowledge of Quality Management System;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Ability to multi-task, ability to prioritize tasks, effective time management and presentation skills;
- Ability to complete projects assigned with minimum supervision and escalation;
- Understanding of Warehouse Management, inventory control and picking.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE HSE/Food Safety regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
