Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Prepare and issue inspection authorizations (orders) to inspection agencies overseas and locally if required.
* Monitors status of related inspection activities, based on progress reports received.
* Follows up the work of third party inspection agencies and report on progress of the inspections activities.
* Carry out specialised inspection, witness quality tests at manufacturers, vendor premises or approved laboratories.
* Review and comment on all inspection reports and / or certificates submitted by third party agencies, or vendors,
* Prepares detailed inspection reports on quality and discrepancies.
* Conduct site visits for manufacturers and contractors facilities.
* Review suppliers submittal, product catalogues, company profiles with regards to quality control manuals and other related documents to the services offered by the vendors/suppliers.
* Assist in the exploration for alternative chemicals and respective technical and economic comparative analysis.

Requirements

* Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
* 5 years experience in Quality Management System and inspection of materials.
* Good knowledge of global Quality Assurance Principles and standards
* Fluent in English Language (Reading & Writing)
* Preferred to have certification for inspection methods (Eg. ASNT Level 2 American Society Non Destructive Testing)
* Should possess ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certification.
