Job description / Role
The Role:
An additional QA Manager to work with and improving our supply base. Must have Middle East experience of food vendor management with some Quality Assurance involvement, or a QA Specialist. Knows to form good working relations with food vendors to ensure they improve operating standards and provide accurate product information.
Responsibilities:
* Primary contact on Quality Assurance, product quality & Brand Assurance, as well as cooperative work with Alshaya Food Managers
* Develop quality management systems including HACCP & devise and audit relevant processes
* Manager critical incident & product recall processes including leadership of crisis management
* Coach VP's & Functional heads on quality KPI's and how to improve business performance
* Report quality performance trends to the management team & stores
Requirements
* 10 years Quality Assurance Managerial food experience
* MSC Degree in Food Service or Food Microbiology
* HACCP & ISO knowledgeÂ
* Experience in food manufacturing or catering
* Extensive audit experience
* Familiar with best practice of food safety management
* Report writing & ability to manage external auditors
* Fluent English & Arabic required
