Quality Assurance Manager - Dubai

Ensure the Quality activities of the company are effectively managed in order to maintain the Companys approach towards, Quality, Business Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
The purpose of the role is to adopt a partnership approach with each Executive Steering Committee Member (ESCOM) and Head of Departments (HOD) to jointly achieve the desired focus and implementation of systematic process and work across departments to provide proactive solutions to improve the standards.

Requirements

- Implement and manage the company QMS (Quality Management System) framework.
- Work with all functional heads to ensure the company quality process content is developed, established, implemented, tested and maintained.
- Co-author, develop and publish QMS management documentation as aligned with the company policy
- Maintain the ISO 9001:2008 certification, interact with functional departments and external bodies to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established quality objectives and KPIs
- Own, manage and coordinate the Balanced Scorecard process ensuing that all key deliverables are met by departmental owners in support of the business strategy.
- Monitor performance in relevant areas and at planned intervals according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate, advise, assist according to performance levels.
- Monitor, inform, communicate and apply standards created by external bodies and integrate with the company policy
- Assess opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the QMS
- Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
- Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
- Establish and maintain a document control procedure to provide evidence that the QMS is being followed and that there is a system in place for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of such records.
- Report to top management on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement/ corrective actions.
- Ensure that all new employees are inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities. Provide update training as necessary.
- Ensure that all suppliers used by the organization are selected, evaluated and re-evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained.
- Ensure that management undertake periodic but regular assessments of customer satisfaction and that consequent improvements are identified and implemented.
- Ensure that an internal audit programme is adopted to verify that the QMS conforms to planned arrangements, QMS arrangements and is effectively implemented and maintained. Ensure that appropriate action is taken when this is not the case.
- Analyse data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made.
- Manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets and within policies and standards.
- Drive Continuous Improvement to quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality, product and service.
- Train and educate the Solutions employees and implement continuous improvement methodologies including but not limited to 6 Sigma, Lean and others.
- To support the Group in any other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected.

Key Experience:
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience within Quality Assurance
- Must be fluent in English (speak/read/write)
- Must be willing to work/ travel in hostile countries due to location of specific projects.
