Quality Control Engineer

Job description / Role

The Quality Control Engineer responsibility include review and approval of design submittals and have direct oversight of the PQP execution and fabrication activities and preparing / supporting, weekly / monthly quality control reports, minutes of the meetings, quality audit reports.

Act in all quality matters and to make prompt changes in construction procedures if and when necessary to positively ensure the quality specified.

Certify that the detailed design is fully compliant with the contract requirements and verify all the calculation including any amended or additional calculations.

QCE has to complete a detailed review of design, construction drawings, specifications and notify the engineer of any non-compliance with the quality control requirements.

Inspect / test the material which is accepted on the basis of a certificate of compliance and responsible to perform/witness the inspection or test.

Provide full time onsite inspection oversight of all construction activities.

Interface with other Discipline Engineers to review and draw relevant engineering inputs and parameters accordance with Client/Project requirements.

Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.

Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Assist if requested in the training and development of junior personnel to strengthen our capability and make us more competitive in current and future markets.

Improve Quality of the project.

Increase internal / external client satisfaction, communication.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering with Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent status from internationally recognized professional organization.

The candidate shall have at least 15 years engineering experience with at least 10 years experience specific to their discipline.

Provides specialist services in support of project requirements. Independently performs highly complex professional assignments demanding contributions calling for the applications of specialized principles.

Highly experienced in the implementation of engineering design and/or construction supervision Quality Management Systems.

The candidate shall fully qualify by experience and technical training in each construction disciplines (civil, structural, tunneling, sewage treatment plans, mechanical, electrical, etc.).

The candidate should have extensive experience related to major deep tunneling sewer network and advance sewage treatment projects.

Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding communication in both written and spoken English is a must.
