Al-Futtaim Automall is the Used Car Division of the Al-Futtaim Group and has been developed following extensive customer research, using worldwide best practices with the addition of market-leading customer service. Al Futtaim Automall is the largest and most trusted used vehicle retailer in the region for over a decade.

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join the Al Futtaim Automall team in Dubai.

Job Purpose:
Provide support to refurbish the vehicles in high quality standards. Perform road test on refurbishment completed vehicle to ensure vehicle quality as per Al Futtaim Automall standards as well as the appearance of the interior and exterior quality.

Key Accountabilities:
Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Accountabilities & their performance indicators. NB-Focus on outcomes not tasks.

Description:
- Perform daily quality inspection on minimum no. of vehicles as per set target depends on business requirement
- Prepare repeat repair analysis on quality failed vehicles and recommend quality improvement method
- Achieve monthly set target vehicles to be refurbished as per business requirement.
- Assist technicians in diagnosing refurbishment vehicles concerns found during on road test.
- Perform the quality inspection on refurbished vehicles as per highest standards of Al Futtaim Automall
- Follow Al Futtaim way behaviour to be a engaged associate to deliver best performance for the business

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- A Degree/ Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering and Valid UAE driving license is must.

Experience:
- At least 3 years experience as a Quality Controller , within a reputable automotive dealership or preferably from multi franchise vehicles handling workshop.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Ability to perform technical inspection on all brand vehicles related to mechanical, electrical, body and paint jobs.
- Ability to perform on road test to confirm the performance quality to meet Automall standards.
- Ensure to perform QC inspection and certify set target no. of vehicles for the day as per business requirement.
- Technically competent, with the ability to understand the job needs and requirements.
- Ability to guide and support technicians/supervisors on vehicle refurbishment jobs.
- Ability to provide established standards of customer service through understanding technical concerns, assessment of repairs/maintenance and most importantly quality customer care in Vehicle refurbishment process.
- Proactive approach when dealing with repeat repair complaints and provide best quality improvement method to avoid repetitive complaints.
- Valid UAE driving license is must.
