Job description / Role
1. Responsible to travel in various countries to inspect seafood products processing, loading, lab and visualinvestigations etc.
2. Must prepare inspection report in specified format with required details as per HACCP/ ISO system.
3. Must be well versed with UAE health and hygiene regulations and must know practical applicability and expectations of authorities.
4. Communicate with procurement department and provide them daily progress updates on production, quality and inspection. Report acceptance/ rejection of shipments.
5. gather product availability and product quality information and provide to procurement department on regular basis
6. Develop and maintain good relationship with supplier's production and QC departments
7. Report all issues concerning every supplier/ inspection immediately
8. Have good observation skills of suppliers facility, capacity, capabilities, quality etc and provide updates to procurement department to assist them in supplier evaluation process.
9. Maintain records and files of all inspection and provide to procurement department.
Requirements
1. Must be a graduate in Microbiology, must possess seafood industry experience.
2. Well versed with inspection process, required quality & micrological parameters as per UAE regulations and international standards.
3. Must have good knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards and their application in seafood industry.
4. Must be a good communicator, good command over English language.
5. Must be good at using computers specially, excel, words and outlook.
