Job description / Role
Proven and directly related experience in developing and implementation a Quality Management System for a company (preferred construction company).
Good communication and management skill in order to interact with all the operative and management staff for the implementation of the QMS and to identify training needs.
The Quality manager shall:
- monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set standards in collaboration with the quality team,
- support the PM/LPE in the identification of the contractual/client requirements,
- Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality management system is functioning properly.
- Where appropriate, advise on changes and how to implement them and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
- Look at ways to reduce Non Conformance and increase efficiency;
- defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
- setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;
- monitoring quality performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports to be reported to the Management,
- Help all the operative staff to meet the quality standard
- Hel the management to meet Client Satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering / or Equivalent (Geology of Chemistry)
- Relevant Auditing Certification from an Independently third Party Accredited Body
- 10 minimum years of experience
- 5 Minimum year of Proven and Directly Related Experience
