Job description / Role
Our client is a genuine world leader in construction and civil engineering projects. They have a turnover in excess of €12billion and employ over 50,000 people globally.
Following their continued success they have an urgent requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a new Power Station project in Slovakia.
The project is in the early stages (civil, infrastructure etc) and is expected to run until 2015.
Duties will include include variations, recording events on site, paying subcontractors, reporting, claim support, etc.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified with at least 5-7 years experience within Civil Engineering and/or Industrial projects.
Previous experience of working Overseas and knowledge of the FIDIC contract is advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Main Contractor on an exciting project in European location (quick and regular flights back to UK/Ireland if required)
