Job description / Role
My client is a key Fit out specialist with a worldwide reputation for high end, quality driven, bespoke interior fit outs. I have a role based from Dubai for a Quantity Surveyor with a high degree of fit-out expertise and practical experience both here in the UAE and European markets/ UK.
You will work with a small but well organised and structured commercial team and focus on the (CRE) corporate real estate fit out market of the business operations.
Your role will cover all aspects or acting as management contractor on fit out developments from; measurement of quantities for tender purposes, co-ordinate tendering and procurement processes between client the in-house team, main contractors, consultants and sub contractors depending on the nature of the project. Preparation of forecast schedule to achieve target cost plan, assist in procurement process for specialist sub contractors, preparation of cost plan for budgeting purposes, preparation of weekly minutes of meeting and report.
As well as measurement, estimation and costing off tender, construction and variation works, preparation of variation of works and claims analysis. Preparation of materials on site and procurement schedule, preparation of contract administration documents, preparation of quotations for estimation purposes, BOQs to preparation of project final account and settlement works.
The company is an excellent employer and you will have strong career progression. Expected package will be from 20-25,000 AED per month plus flight and healthcare.
Requirements
The right candidate will be BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 5 years pre and post qualification experience.
You will need to have very strong fit out / build experience either with a main contractor / specialist Fit out sub contractor (one which is used to delivering high end CRE.) or PQS cost Consultancy experience with a renowned practice ideally from the UK.
You will be western educated and probably MRICS or MCIOB.
