Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure

Global consultancy is looking for a number of experienced Quantity Surveyors for their Qatar based projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Maximising project margin and contribution in adding value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.
• Carrying out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs.
• Maximise the value of monthly applications and measurement and submission of contract variations.
• Timely submission and negotiation of final accounts to the client/ main contractor and subcontractors.
• Managing and producing accurate formal reports in accordance with the project time plan.

Requirements

• Degree Educated - BSc in Quantity Surveying
• A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consulting organisation or PQS firm, 7 years of which should be working within roads, highways and drainage projects
• Experience within the Middle East, would be an advantage
