Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Our client is a leading cost management consultant in the Middle East. They view property and construction assets as having complex, integrated lifecycles. This consultant delivers a portfolio of services along this lifecycle, from concept through design and construction to the management and maintenance of a project or asset. They are one of the leading asset management and construction consultants, established for more than 100 years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are urgently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has experience in post contract valuations and variations to work on a project in Oman with experience in MEP.

- Assist in preparation of tender documentation and tender analysis for consultants or contractors
- Assist in selecting, negotiating and forming contracts
- Good knowledge of FIDIC and other forms of contract
- Change management, provision of estimates and overall budget control
- Post contract administration services of consultants and contractors
- Review of variations, claims, quantum and provision of contractual advice
- Review of valuations in a timely order

Requirements

Qualification & Experience

You will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years post graduate
- Have experience delivering cost consultancy services
- Must have MEP Experience
- Good English communication and report writing skills
- Computer literacy skills necessary
