Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Job description / Role

- To carry out the quantity surveying functions on the project and assist with all commercial and contractual duties as laid down by the commercial manager / project manager to maximize the financial effectiveness and profitability of the company.
- Provide commercial and contractual services to ensure commercial targets are being achieved.
- Attend discussions with main contractor, sub-contractors and other consultants as required.
- Provide contractual and commercial support to estimating and procurement departments.
- Ensure that contractual obligations are properly executed by the company.
- Advise on commercial risks within the projects.
- Carry out all measurement, pricing and submission of contract variations.
- Assist CM with the preparation of monthly contract review reports as required.
- Assist CM with the preparation of monthly management accounts information as required.
- Identify changes and prepare variation measures, including pricing, submission and negotiations
- Assist CM with commercial roles across the company as required.
- Assist CM with start-up and validation meetings with the project team.
- Assist with the preparation of progress valuations through to final account.
- Assist CM with the preparation of project and regional commercial forecasts as required.
- Assist with Subcontractor Management including tendering, tender analyses, negotiation, formulation and execution of subcontract documents, payments, final accounts etc.
- Assist CM in the preparation of contractual claims and extensions of time.
- Assist with maintaining records of commercial and contractual issues to ensure targets are being met.

Requirements

Quantity Surveyor (MEP / Building Services)
Indian / Asian National.

- Must have Middle East experience.
- Must have MEP sector background.
- Must have worked for Contractor company.

Our Saudi based client is a busy MEP Contractor (BUILDING SERVICES) with a growing project portfolio. They have a requirement for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

You MUST from a Contractor based MEP background. You will have excellent commercial & contractual knowledge and will have minimum of 5 years experience. Variations experience would be beneficial.

THIS IS A BUILDING SERVICES MEP CONTRACTOR, NOT HEAVY INDUSTRIAL / OR OIL & GAS.
High rise - Commercial - Residential - Retail - medical Projects.
