Job description / Role
This international contractor require a Quantity Surveyor to join the team working on the construction of the Metro project. The succesful candidate will be based on site and will be responsible for
Reviewing incoming information and identify variations.
Preparing all information to accurately value and cost the variations.
Preparing the variation in a format suitable for onward submission to the client.
Maintaining a VO register.
The candidates may also be required to assist in some procurement activity.
Requirements
To apply candidates should meet the following criteria:
BSc Quantity Surveying
A proven track record of working on large scale civil engineering projects for a contractor
Have reasonable experience in identifying and valuing variations.
Exposure to working overseas (particularly Middle-East, Gulf Area) would be beneficial
Fluent in written and spoken English
