Job description / Role
My Client is a major PQS here in Dubai and Regionally, with major High end Projects awarded and more subject to award. They have a strong close team here in Dubai and have an excellent working environment to achieve career goals in major signature projects as well as good progression and rewards structure. We are looking to appoint quantity surveyor with both strong pre and post contract ability with an emphasis on those with strong cost planning ability and experience.
The typical role will cover;
Managing a team of surveyors in the preparation of the bill of quantities.
Carrying out tender analysis on returned tender documents and producing reports
Managing and Producing take-offs
Producing pre-tender budget estimates, cost planning
Certifying application for payments
Pricing and agreeing variations and works extra to the contract
Producing cost plans and feasibility studies for potential projects and liaising with the design team
Evaluating and agreeing variations to achieve a successful outcome on one project to avoid contractor taking the client to arbitration
Requirements
We are only looking for those with 10 years plus in Quantity Surveying on major projects.
Strong cost planning experience good exposure to pre and post contract roles
UK Degree in Quantity Surveying, studies in the UK.
