Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently representing a leading European Company for their Nigerian operations; they operate extensively through various engineering fields.

At present they require a Quantity Surveyor to oversee their rail operations throughout Nigeria, the ideal Quantity Surveyor will have previous experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and have worked for leading international firms.

The main responsibilities of the successful Quantity Surveyor will be:
• Conducting full risk assessments while projects are at the tender stage.
• Controlling the debtors, contractual letters and claims.
• Present costing reports on a monthly basis to the Project Manager
• Improving operational efficiency of the reporting systems.
• Assisting the onsite team with all aspects of Claims Management.

Requirements

Personal Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• A background in Rail, LRT or other large Earthworks Projects will be looked upon favourably.
• Previous Sub-Saharan Africa experience will be highly advantageous.
• Fluent English.
