Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a grade “A” Qatari Contracting Company specialized in road works and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

•Recording and monitoring all site activities and costs being expended on the project.

•Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.

•Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.

•Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.

•Prepare submit and negotiate project interim valuation and final accounts.

•Preparation of Tender documents including pricing, tabulation of price and cost summary.

•Preparation of subcontractors payments and recording / monitoring of all site works.

•Preparation of monthly commercial reports in conjunction with PM and site team.

•Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.

•Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing and costing budgets.

•Able to work well within a team based environment.

•Communicate regularly with subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place,
understood and followed at all times.

•Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable.

•Supply all relevant information to the Estimation Manager for review at the specified intervals set.

•Assist Estimation Manager with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.

Requirements

•The incumbent will be a part of busy estimation and quantity surveying team. The successful candidate will need a minimum of 5 years experience in roads and infrastructure Company. with high degree in Civil Engineering and ideally Quantity Surveying chartered.
