Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs.
2. Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for contracts.
3. Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues.
4. Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
5. Preparing of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials
6. On-going analysis of maintenance and repair work
7. Feasibility studies of client request
8. Allocating upcoming work to contracts
9. Site visit assessments and projections for future works

Requirements

1. A graduate with degree holder or equivalent diploma for a quantity surveyor course
2. Should have at least more than 2 years experience in anywhere GCC countries holding the same position.
3. Practical and logical qualities and a methodical way of thinking.
4. A creative and innovative approach to problem solving
5. Strong numeracy and financial management skills and the ability to learn sophisticated design and costing packages.
6. The ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people.
7. Negotiating and a team-working skills and the ability to motivate and lead those on site.
8. Detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, process, materials, business and legal matters
