Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

- Preparing Cost Estimates from Preliminary Stage to Tender Stage.
- Preparing quantity take-off & Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in coordination with the architect, structural engineer, MEP Engineers & with the Client if required.
- Performing value engineering and cost control.
- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Preparing tender documents.
- Attending and replying on tender queries/correspondence.
- Performing tender analysis and report/recommendation.
- Prepares contract documents.
- Providing advice, assistance negotiations on contractual claims/variations.
- Valuing completed work at site and certifying payments until final account.
- Maintaining awareness of the different contracts in current use.
- Any other related work which will be assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

- At least 5-10 years related experience, where 5 years acquired from UAE
- BS Civil Engineer / BS Quantity Surveyor degree holder
- Filipino / Sri Lankan
- Age 25-40 years old
- Salary 12,0000 AED to 15, 000 AED
- Proficient in estimation software and MS office application
- Knowledge in standards of measurement
- Organized & flexible to working hours
