The RoleThe RoleReview and maintain knowledge of Terms and Conditions of all subcontracts for which he is responsible. Attend kick-off meetings and subsequent progress meetings with subcontractors and produce and distribute minutes of meetings. Survey and measure work in progress and check sub-contractors interim payments applications. Value additional works, site instructions, variations and day work applications. Negotiate ‘star rates’ with subcontractors where necessary. Identify and report potential problem areas, particularly those that are likely to give rise to claims. Assist subcontracts administrator in the analysis and resolution of sub-contractors claims. Conduct final measure on work executed and prepare and agree final accounts. Assist in close-out of completed claims. |
RequirementsRequirements- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering. - Minimum 10 years experience in quantity surveying works of infrastructure projects such as storm water drainage, culvert, piping, dam, bridge, tunnel and roads. |
