4 x Quantity Surveyor

MUST BE WESTERN -

BRITISH, SOUTH AFRICAN, AMERICAN, AUSTRALIAN

My client has a number of different exciting civil projects happening though out Saudi Arabia. There are looking for four to five western Quaintly Surveyors to join there team to work on these projects, it is a great chance for someone to further there career in the construction industry. The civil works taking place for example could range from a hospital build in Riyadh to infrastructure for and oil and gas site in Al Khobar and would be a fantastic chance for the right candidate to add some impressive projects to their CV

Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;

Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work;

Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;

Performing risk and value management and cost control; advising on procurement strategy;

Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;

Preparing and analysing costings for tenders;

Allocating work to subcontractors;

Providing advice on contractual claims;

Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;

Valuing completed work and arranging payments;

Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;

Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations

Requirements

Diploma level, ideally Degree in QS or Civil Engineering

5 Years experience

Working knowledge of construction in the Middle East

Have worked in the Industry on a mixture of projects including: Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, Construction
