Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the financial, commercial and contractual management of a critical MEP project for this dynamic and expanding organisation. You will ensure that profit is maximised through procurement and good QS practices, and ideally you will have worked on Healthcare D&B or refurbishment projects with a main contractor.

THE ROLE

• Work closely with the MEP Contracts Manager and be jointly responsible for the financial, commercial and contractual management of the project through to final account close out
• Working closely with the Construction teams ensuring that subcontract procurement is carried out in both a timely and cost effective manner.
• Managing the subcontract procurement process.
• Preparation, submission and negotiation of all monthly project interim and final accounts using software provided
• Maintaining accurate and up to date Forecast Final Accounts for presentation to clients on a monthly basis.
• Preparing and presenting monthly project internal WIP reports at monthly internal CVR meetings
• Attendance at client’s monthly project progress meetings including presentation of contractors reports where appropriate
• Present regular financial feed back to the estimators on the basis of known costs
• Based in South West Saudi Arabia

Requirements

• Demonstrable track record working for a Main Contractor, particularly on healthcare projects.
• Experience in a similar role, having worked on high value, complex MEP projects
• Ideally MRICS or equivalent
• Client focused
• You must be able to think fast on your feet, you will be tenacious and resilient with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Enthusiastic and solutions oriented, with a positive approach
• Available for occasional travel
