Job description / Role
A highly successful multinational FMCG business in the UAE is recruiting for a Research and Development Manager to join their team in Algeria.
As the R&D Manager, you will handle the following responsibilities:
* Develop and implement improved R&D strategies and new packaging for the assigned product and category
* Oversee the monitoring of packaging quality and all technical documentation
* Implement innovative manufacturing practices and ensure that they are within high quality standards and in line with all business safety policies
* Ensure that all business procedures and standards are applied in the manufacturing process within the plant
Requirements
To qualify for this position, the following skills and experience are requires:
* Bachelors Degree in Material Science or Packaging or any related field
* At least 3+ years of experience within the R&D department of a similar multinational FMCG business
* Strong knowledge of the R&D and packaging process
* Working knowledge in SAP- Excellent project management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Fluent in English and French
* Flexible to travel internationally
