Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Specific duties of the RFP / Proposal Manager shall include but not be limited to the following tasks:

• Single Point Responsibility and accountability for delivery of the Proposal for Upstream projects.
• Prepare and circulate the IMS documentation for Go/Nogo approvals. Follow up with the personnel until a final decision is made on the Go/Nogo scenario.
• Read and understand the scope of the ITB.
• Assemble the proposals team in conjunction with the heads of departments and lead the proposal team.
• Provide periodical report on group bidding activities and success ratio achieved in each area.
• Organise and facilitate meetings with clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure the proposals are prepared in compliance with the applicable IMS Procedures.
• Ensure Company policies, procedures and norms are followed for all proposals activities.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals together with the appropriate commercial proposal
• Prepare project review documentation including the risk assessment documentation, conduct the risk review at department and country level as well as conduct management reviews as per the IMS procedures and Lines and Limits of Authority.
• Assistance in recruitment as well as training and development of proposal personnel.
• Actively contribute in the development and enhancement of the Proposal procedures for delivery of successful tender packages.

Requirements

The RFP Preparation & Management should hold a Bachelor degree from a recognized institute

Person Specification, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Minimum 7 years of proposals management experience.
• Good interpersonal and team-working skills.
• Able to work within a multinational and multicultural environment.
• Good leadership skills.
• Adaptability to change.
• Ability to work and deliver under pressure and demanding work conditions.
• Understand, appreciate and comply with the tender submission requirements.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word at power user level.
