Our Radiology department is currently seeking a RIS/PACS Administrator to join their expert team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding organization working with state of the art medical facilities and equipment.
You will play a key role in the implementation of our Radiology Information System (RIS) /Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS) and related radiology department workflow redesign. Post implementation, you will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operation of the RIS/PACS as relates to the operational activities of the radiology program across all facilities. This will include, but not be limited to, imaging workflow monitoring, issues
resolution and exception handling, and operational support and training for Radiology Department staff (medical and non-medical).

If you meet the following requirements then we would like to hear from you today!
Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Radiography/Nuclear Medicine Technology (or a relevant discipline / or recognized equivalent tertiary qualification)
5 years post graduate experience in a similar role
Clinical expertise at the level of Senior Radiology Technologist
Practical experience in the department of a RIS/PACS and post implementation RIS/PACS administration
Ideally you would also have:
Additional tertiary qualifications in clinical information systems or information technology
Significant experience at the level of Senior Radiology Technologist gained within a large complex multisite healthcare environment
Experience in the training and education of multidisciplinary healthcare staff from diverse backgrounds, including the required change management and work practice changes associated with the introduction of new technologies and RIS/PACS implementation
