Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As RM Operations Research Specialist, you will support the Operations Research team within the Revenue Management Department in the different projects and activities in pursuit to support the requirements of the department. The role involves evaluation of experimental operational models.

You will work on the current Revenue Management systems and analyse information to come up with recommendations for continuous improvement of results and systems. In addition, you will perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and propose to reformulate the models if necessary. You will prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommend necessary solutions.

This role reports to the Revenue Management Operations Research Manager.

Requirements

A successful candidate must have a University degree in technical/quantitative programme such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering. You must have two or more years of working experience in operations research and statistical modelings. Knowledge of revenue management theory and its application and technology is a definite advantage.

You need to be able to identify how systems can be used to improve performance of the department and how to create and define processes to support systems in use. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
