The RoleThe RoleObjectives: To provide high quality subscriber experience on Itisaluna network through efficient/effective Radio Access Network planning, optimization & deployment while providing insight and support to all stakeholders . Responsibilities. Monitor the performance of the radio network and maintain network quality at the Level set by top management in line with international standards. Evaluate new BSS products, features and tools before they are considered for implementation on the network Conduct pricing exercise and negotiate contracts with suppliers for the supply of equipment, software and other products & services required for the radio network optimization in order to get the best for the company. Interface with other Network Group divisions. Develop the skills of RF planners by informing management of additional training requirements and ensuring that staff is scheduled to attend training courses that are offered. Optimize the use of resources across the network. Ensure that a proper documentation of RF projects and procedures are provided and effectively communicated across all regions. Advise staff of the departments targets and implement processes and procedures to ensure that targets are met. Ensure the availability and integrity of Radio network measurement statistics. Resource management - forecast human and trade tools requirements based on workload evaluation and growth. Ensure that the relevant parts of the company are kept informed about the: performance of the network via weekly and monthly reports and periodic reports to the industry regulator (Nee) on the status of Itisaluna network. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering. Min. of 5 years of experience, 3 of them should be in Radio Access Network in CDMA or GSM networks. Telecom experience is required. |
