Rail/Metro/Tram - Timetable / Load Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

Salary: 45,000 to 50,000 plus Family Package benefits

Based in the UAE, our client is seeking an experienced Rail/Metro/Tram - Timetable / Load Planning Engineer to develop, structure and oversee the operational functionality of the Tram/Metro/Rail requirement.

This role is about the overall management of load capacity, time table planning and scheduling of the Metro/Tram and analysis of the performance and effectiveness of the operation.

Your experience with management of 3 years in a similar role you will be required to establish the full plan for the system, execute and evaluate the system providing initiatives for improvements and conduct reviews and complete reports for management with recommendations for change.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of organisation and management and attention to details. This is a critical business role and will impact the overall smooth running of the operation.

Responsibilities in Include:

Monitor all aspects of the operations, planning, and operational analysis including regulation calculations and management of departmental budgets.
Devise tram/metro systems appropriately to meet demands of the public.
Suggest innovative ways to improve.
Preparation of reports including financial performance, and problem evaluations and recommendations.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical / Civil.
10 years experience with Rail.
3 years as a Rail Planner.
Analytical, innovative and driven.
