The RoleThe RoleThis job will require the incumbent to support risk management of the Mortgage Loans portfolio. The successful candidate will provide information and make recommendations that have a direct impact on overall portfolio growth and profitability due to factors linked with the real estate market. This position forms part of the Mortgage/Credit policy unit within SCB. The key roles and responsibilities involved in this position will be to: 1. Manage the property valuation agencies, maintain relationships and assess their work. 2. Create property related manuals - which will include prices for different areas/properties and will help decide whether to take certain properties as collateral or not etc. 3. Forecast property price trends keeping in mind macro economic factors. 4. Guide the credit underwriters with respect to different prices in various locations. 5. Produce stress valuation reports with respect to credit norms. 6. Develop and monitor guidelines on the valuation process in the foreclosure process. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe required Qualifications and Skills that a candidate should possess: • Professional degree • Good knowledge of the property market specifically - UAE (Dubai & Abu Dhabi) • Should have previous work experience with a reputed property consultant firm. • Should be able to adapt quickly within diverse teams. |
