Receivables Accountant / Credit Controller

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Reporting to the Head of Finance/Controlling you will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day functional receivables accounting such as posting of customer invoices, booking and verification of incoming payments, management of received cheques as well as follow up on return cheques
- Follow up on outstanding payments and sorting out invoice related issues with clients and internal department
- Coordination of Police and Court Cases
- Organization of the weekly Credit Control Meeting (preparation of the Ageing Report, Minutes of Meeting as well as follow up on the agreed actions)
- Handling of the dunning process and preparation of dunning letters
- Preparation of customer account reconciliations and various reports (Statement of Accounts,.)
- Supporting the debt collectors with various ad-hoc analysis

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Chartered Accountant certificate
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High degree of accuracy and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English
