Global Access Recruitment is looking to find an experienced and skilled Reception manager for one of our clients hospitals in Sharjah.

The Role

Leader ship/ Organizational Skills
- Provides continuous, direct supervision of patient relations staff in all clinic areas.
- Maintains a consistent supervisory presence in the clinics in collaboration with the clinic manager.
- Provides feedback regarding patient relation staff performance to the clinic manager.
- Provides direct supervision to the patient relation staff.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.
- Performs additional duties as specified by the director of clinic operations.

Technical functions
- Organizes training with new patient relation staff. Schedule new staff for training, assigns trainer, monitors progress, and addresses any training deficiencies.
- Monitor cash outstanding report each day. Investigates all accounts of patients walked out, late charge entries, and disputes charges in areas without clinic manager.
- Provides cashier training to reduce cash outstanding episodes.
- Liaises with insurance department to resolve registration errors.
- Maintain full knowledge of hospital services.
- Update the departmental policies and procedures as needed.

Customer Service
- Establishes and maintain the highest standard of customer service in all assigned areas.
- Demonstrates cooperation, coordination, and respect among individuals/ departments in order to provide excellent customer service ( internal & external).
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively and creatively deal with unsatisfied patients.
- Demonstrates the ability to be culturally sensitive.
- Provides interpretation/translation, both verbal and written if needed.

Communication
- Maintain and safeguards the confidentiality of patients and all hospital information.
- Demonstrates the telephone etiquette that includes a clear voice, courteous response and ability to receive and direct massages correctly.
- Maintain calm deposition in times of crises or extreme work pressure.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years experience in Reception of which at least 2 years in Healthcare sector.
- Extensive knowledge of insurance matters.
- Previous managerial experience.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE working experience.
- Must be Native Arabic speaker.
