Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 10,000 plus benefits
Location: DIFC, Dubai

We are currently looking for a Receptionist on behalf of our client to ensure the effective operation of the reception area and provide professional administrative support to the Office Manager.

Typical duties:
- Welcome visitors to the premises and give a positive image of the company.
- Notify the relevant employee of their vsitor arriving and direct visitor to the correct meeting room / destination.
- Attend to calls and re-direct inquiries to the relevant departments.
- Provide relevant information to callers and ensure all enquires are sufficiently dealt with in a timely manner.
- Act as a gate keeper to the senior management team screening spam calls effectively
- Maintain a diary for the board and meeting rooms, ensuring no double booking and adequate space for meetings.
- Be responsible for the registration of incoming/outgoing mail and faxes, courier packages and other relevant tasks.
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries.
- Assist the Office Manager where required with administration tasks. ?
- Support any Heads of Department who are without an assistant. This will include but will not be limited to: schedule management, travel itinerary, correspondence, reports, mailings, and presentations.
- Attend to maintenance requests such as complaints from employees on air conditioning issues etc.
- nAttend to employees queries related to access cards, parking cards and related issues.

Requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic language.
- Professional personal presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills, able to build rapport with people quickly.
- Good organisational and information management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
