Job description / Role
The role holder is responsible for providing reception coverage, administrative support, either within a department or alternatively as a personal assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
* To perform administrative tasks according to established procedures.
* Principal responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
* Managing the Reception - Meet and Greet,
* Maintenance of Office Environment
* Diary management/travel bookings/expenses tracking;
* Organisation of logistics for management meetings, preparation of documents and agendas;
* Maintaining up to date filing and reference systems as needed;
* Co-ordination of departmental events and programs;
* Tracking attendance, annual leave, sick absences.
Business Impact:
* Impact is short term and primarily functional in scope.
Authority/Decision Making:
* Decision making is normally on a day-to-day basis within defined limits prescribed by line management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Typically in possession of a business or administration qualification or working towards this.
Skills/Experience:
* Relevant experience gained in an administrative role in business.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Will be skilled in the use of a wide variety of business software applications.
