Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for operating the main company switchboard, receiving visitors, managing inbound and outbound courier packages.
- Handle day-to-day reception duties to present a professional image of the organization to external customers and business partners, as well as provide administrative support to the HR department within company guidelines with the objective to ensure smooth and effective operations of the office.
- Greet and receive visitors and ensure that all visitors are dealt with promptly, courteously, and accurately.
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls at a switchboard. Take and distribute accurate messages.
- Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit; issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs; alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources, for example on the organizations location, hours of operation, phone numbers, or email address.
- Organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages.
- Ensure the reception is well kept and waiting area are clean

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or Secretarial/Administrative Course
Minimum Experience:
- Diploma or equivalent

- Minimum three years of relevant experience in an administrative or customer service role

Functional Knowledge:
- Good communication skills
- Good inter-personal skills
- Thorough understanding of switchboard equipment.
