Recovery Senior - IKEA - DFC

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Recovery Assistant to work in our Dubai Festival City store. Reporting to the In-Store Logistics Manager you will be responsible for optimising recovery of losses and minimising the impact of activities on the environment strengthening IKEA's position as the best home furnishing store in the local market.

Your duties will include:
- Meet or exceed sales and Profit & Loss objectives
- To meet mystery shoppers expectations
- Provide a positive customer shopping experience
- Operate an efficient, organized and safe As Is' selling floor
- Develop action plans and partner with all areas of the store to achieve business goals and Operational Review Standards
- Lead the Quality function to demand the best of the IKEA pipeline
- Train and coach the Recovery co-workers
- Ensure a safe pleasant co-worker working environment
- Operate an organised stock confirmation room and processing room
- Promote and implement Recovery Concept throughout store according to the Recovery Manual guidelines
- Monitor and maintain an effective hardware/spare parts inventory system
- Contribute as a member of the In Store logistics Management team
- Lead the Recovery team
- Monitor transfer types and maintain confirmation system for returned products
- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur

Requirements

- Ability to focus on continuous improvement of existing operations

- Have strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills and multi tasking capabilities are essential
- Advanced Computer skills (MS Office packages)
- Knowledge of operating systems (Navision)
- Proven management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A proven ability to share knowledge
