The RoleThe RoleAs a provider of multi-disciplined technical services to the built environment, Atkins is committed to design excellence in the delivery of first class solutions which combine, innovation, imagination and best practice. We require a Recruitment Advisor to coordinate the recruitment and attraction process and be part of a successful and proactive recruitment function for part of the Atkins Middle East business The position will be based in our Abu Dhabi office. Previous experience with municipalities within the region is essential for this role. Requirements - Liaising and building relationships with line managers on a daily basis Obtaining authorisation and approval for vacancies. - Posting of vacancies onto recruitment database - Reviewing and short listing all candidates applying to positions. - Administration and updating of Recruitment +Management System (RMS) which will involve: - Adding vacancies and roles to the system - Inputting paper based CV’s onto the system - Amending candidate status - Logging interviews and inputting interview assessment forms. - Arranging of interviews - Following up of references - Following up with line management regarding status of applications and CV’s. - Liaising with candidates and ensuring communication during recruitment process. - Assisting with ad hoc duties as required by the Regional Recruitment Manager and Senior HR Manager - Other duties as requested from time to time. - Using different types of attraction methods in order to attract the right type of candidates - Dealing with and attending meetings at the Al Ain and Abu Dhabi Municipality - Attend careers fairs, presentations and appropriate networking forums - Build and maintain effective relationships with business managers and HR team members to assist in the turnaround of applications submitted and gain feedback. - Actively assist managers with interviewing and other selection processes, ensuring appropriate hire judgements are made - Build strong productive relationships with key recruitment suppliers to facilitate urgent recruitment needs |
RequirementsRequirementsTechnical Competencies - Minimum of two years recruitment experience - Ability to build strong relationships with clients / +line management - Must have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English - Exceptional level of computer literacy in Windows – Word, Outlook, Excel - High degree of accuracy required Experience of updating databases and managing electronic information - Experience of working with an e-based recruitment management system - HR related degree - Communication skills in written and spoken Arabic - Experience in recruitment of Emiratis - Behavioural Competencies - Must be able to work independently with a proactive approach - Excellent organisational skills - able to plan ahead, prioritise and meet deadlines - Communication – able to adapt communication to audience and create detailed written documents and reports - Planning and Organising – able to plan and prioritise - Self reliant and determined, able to work with high levels of autonomy or as part of a team - Initiative – able to adapt existing approach, adapt and look ahead |
