The RoleThe RolePlease Note:- Preference will be given to Omani Nationals for this position. Overview Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is currently seeking to appoint a Recruitment Officer for the Human Capital Department. Reporting to the Human Capital Manager the role will be based in Muscat - Sultanate of Oman. Job Responsibilities & Activities • Works closely with OOCEP managers on recruitment strategies, hiring procedures and company policies • Works closely with the senior technical recruiters in evaluating candidates & fulfilling OOCEP recruitment requirements • Evaluates technical & operational candidates to check personal qualifications against job requirements • Assist in building technical & non-technical job descriptions and suitable advertisements with hiring teams • Advises managers of hiring processes keeping them updated as to the status of all relevant open positions. • Coordinates the administration of all requisitions, job postings, offer letters and on-boarding procedures • Ensures OOCEP’s compliance with all applicable employment laws. • Negotiates salaries / conditions / start dates with candidates and Senior Technical Recruitment Consultants. • Assists in collating relevant information from candidates for the successful handover of on-boarding processing. • Ensures career positions are adequately maintained on the OOCEP website and OOCEP HRMS. |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum Requirements of Education, Experience, Skills) • BSc in Business or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years experience required in Recruitment in upstream Oil & Gas. • Knowledge and experience in GCC/Middle East Market. • Strong written, verbal and negotiation skills. • Medium level of technical knowledge in Oil & Gas is desired. • Well versed in MS Office applications. • Analytical and problem solving skills. |
