Recruitment Officer

Job description / Role

• Work closely with HoS, HoD on their recruitment requirements and provide professionally informed advice and guidance to support them.
• Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures are adhered to and recommend improvements.
• Ensure recruitment best practice through the use of effective techniques, processes and assessment tools.
• Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time and budget.
• Assist the HoS and HoD in designing job descriptions.
• Design and upload recruitment advertisements through various channels.
• Update the organizational structure as and when required.
• Screens applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications and credentials.
• Schedules interviews and ensure interviewer feedback on candidate.
• Send interview feedback to candidates.
• Work closely with the Government and Employee Relations sections to ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding of staff.
• Ensure the latest immigration laws are always applied in the recruitment process.
• Contribute to the highest standards of customer service.
• Gather external recruitment intelligence and feed back to the management team.
• Maintains an active and organized data bank of applicants for various positions.
• Generates recruitment related reports.
• Drafts employment letters and contracts for selected candidates
• Update the HR management system as and when required.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Degree or higher diploma in HR or other relevant discipline.
• A Masters degree from an accredited University (with a specialism in HR) and/or a professional HR qualification is an advantage.
Experience
• A minimum of five years’ HR experience.
• Experience in Recruitment in a fast moving, multisite organization
• Experience in direct sourcing and talent attraction.
• Able to demonstrate experience of managing vacancies
