Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Major Responsibilities

Conduct recruitment meetings with line managers and their teams to identify the hiring needs and agree on the recruitment strategy.

Source candidates based on profile understanding and conduct interviews following the competency-based interviewing techniques whilst ensuring minimum competencies and skills requirements are fulfilled by candidates to be evaluated by hiring managers.

Based on interview outcome determine suitability of candidates for continued consideration.

Execute and administer assessment tests to final candidates and assist candidates through the assessment process.

Review and select appropriate candidates to be evaluated by hiring manager overseeing fairness and objectivity of the process and ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.

Conduct consensus meetings with the hiring team on candidate selection.

Act as ongoing candidate relationship manager by interacting with and influencing employment decision of prospects and candidates.

Provide ongoing value-adding recruiting-related advice to hiring managers and influence talent decisions.

Train Hiring Manager on best practice assessment, recruiting process and selection tools.

Participate in recruitment projects planning, designing and implementing projects/recruitment programs and provides collaborative assistance to the Recruitment Team on recruitment initiatives.

Participate in the establishment of effective on-boarding programs.

Keeps current on latest recruitment processes, trends and sourcing methods by networking within HR community and active in social networking communities

Requirements

Qualifications

A university degree in business or related field. Holding a Professional Human Resource Designation or be in process of completing one is an asset.

Two or more years working in an in-house recruitment or with a recruiting agency preferably with the FMCG industry with demonstrated ability to effectively support a large volume of varied recruitment assignments.

Experience working with a team with a project management capacity and a clear understanding of change management implications.

Desirable experience working in matrix structured organizations with multiple divisions and/or business groups/categories with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Experience interacting with Senior Managers in a client/vendor relationship.

Strong customer service orientation with a high degree of attention to detail and sensitivity to confidential information.

Must be a self-starter with an action drive and a dedication to total quality in his/her approach to all assignments.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, professional style.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must demonstrate common sense, good judgment and the ability to think in context to support comprehensive solutions to Human Resources challenges.

Strong Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/email, and SAP transactional activities.
