Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Conducting various recruitment activities that provide line managers and store operations with a suitable pool of applicants from which to select and for negotiating and finalizing contracts with candidates.

Accountabilities
- Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels and builds recruitment materials for presentations, job fairs and open days.
- Manages the entire recruitment cycle with a view to hire and attract the best talents from various sources and selects employment advertising methods when needed.
- Coordinate with head of departments and for the annual manpower plan and budgeted manpower of store operations
- Liaises with line managers to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and preferences.
- Checks vacancy requisitions for policy and budget compliance
- Ensures remaining informed of developments in areas such as salaries, employee benefits and departmental needs.
- Organizes advertising, interviewing and selection processes for recruitment campaigns
- Ensures timely and quality recruitment methods to conduct interviews with job seekers and prepares shortlists of candidates
- Takes a proactive approach to meet staffing requirements by attracting, sourcing and screening applicants using innovative techniques.
- Manages and ensures arrangement of interviews with head of departments and line managers for applicants
- Discuss recruitment policies with superiors to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programs
- Coordinates with both local and overseas recruitment consultancies and finalize contracts with them
- Conducts competency-based interviews and uses appropriate assessments.
- Checks candidates references with their previous employers.
- Updates the candidates database systems as required.
- Provides a high level of customer service to candidates, colleagues and line managers.
- Builds effective working relationships with placement agencies, colleges and universities for recruitment purposes.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in Recruitment.
- Capability to handle challenging issues in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Aptitude to recruit for a wide range of positions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to people.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). French is an advantage.
- IT Skills, MS office application.
