Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Regional Accountant - KSA

An accountant with fluent Arabic and good English language skills is required to look after our Saudi Arabian (KSA) business that currently has 1 store and a wholesale operation. The role will include:
- Full control of the KSA Company accounts- processing ledger and booking entries according to set procedures so that all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
- Purchase ledger- entering invoices and sorting out all queries and making payments etc.
- Sales ledger- issuing invoices, credit control (phone and email), posting payment receipts etc.
- General ledger- reconciling balance sheet accounts, reconciling cash to store revenue.
- Preparing month end accounts as per company schedule.
- Assisting with yearend audit work.
- Will require regular travel to KSA.
- Liaising with KSA country manager regularly who is based in Jeddah, KSA.
- Identify, investigate and rectify routine errors and anomalies in data in order to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Analyze ledgers and accounts to allow the reconciliation of financial data according to stated schedules so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and statutory reports can be produced within legislative time limits.
- Assisting with budget preparations.

Requirements

- Must be fluent in Arabic and have good English language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in with emphasis on finance or accounting.
- 2-4 years experience in accounts and reporting.
- Must be willing to travel to KSA regularly.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and exposure to Microsoft Navision preferred.
- Candidate should be based in the UAE already.
- Prior KSA experience would be beneficial.
