Regional Business Manager

Job description / Role

Based in Dubai, and with a report to the Sales Director, the Regional Business Manager has responsibility for managing importer operations across their respective markets and will be involved in new market launch activity within the region.

The Role:
The individual will ultimately be measured on achievement of volume and financial objectives, development of representation and brands in the Region and on building a lasting business relationship with importers. Additionally, the role will drive process adherence through robust action planning that will drive improved customer satisfaction at the dealership level.

The Regional Business Manager will be expected to build relationships up to & not excluding the GM - this will be required in order to successfully champion new initiatives & dealer standards. The Regional Business Manager will be expected to performance manage the distributor using the appropriate VDM program to drive positive behaviours.

There are no direct reports but the individual will be supported by a Regional Aftersales Manager (with identical brand and market responsibilities), and a marketing team. The Regional Business Manager is expected to show leadership to this team.

The role requires a high degree of responsibility, independence and personal integrity. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent project management ability, highly skilled in terms of general business acumen, a positive motivator and skilled networker and communicator.

The successful candidate will travel extensively within the region.

Requirements

- Background in retail, automotive premium sales
- Minimum 6 years Automotive Experience
- Highly motivated and able to work under their own initiative
- Possessing strong communication and presentational skills
- Strong project management skills and negotiation skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident and with exceptional networking, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Fluent spoken and written English (French/Arabic would be highly beneficial)
- Budget management
- Knowledge of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Minimum of degree level education
