Employment: Full Time

The Regional Commercial Manager will be responsible for one of it's business units for this global and market leading chemicals organisation for Middle East and Africa region. You will execute commercial strategy within the Middle East and Africa Market, as well as being responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing the sales strategy and plan for the region. The accountability entails planning and implementing all sales activities, combining effective management of the current business with a robust new business development component in order to meet current and long term strategic sales objectives for growth and profitability. The Regional Commercial Manager will report to the General Manager for Middle East and Africa.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:
University Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.
Experience in specialty materials industry is preferred
Candidates should be willing to travel extensively across Middle East and Africa (60-70%). Strong fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in French will be a strong asset as will Arabic
Candidates must demonstrate high level of leadership and credibility and have a very strong background in commercial acumen and a proven track record in sales, pricing, financial budgets and evaluating the competition.
