Randstad Mena is pleased to be recruiting a Regional Commercial Manager for the MENAI region. This is a position with the market leader in it field related to supporting the Construction and Oil and Gas industries.
The Regional Commercial Manager will report to the Commercial Director and will assist him in providing the vision, drive and expertise for commercial services, risk management and compliance across the entire MENAI region.

Key attributes of the position are:

Reviewing tender package preparations to ensure commercial viability including reviewing contract terms and conditions, bank guarantees etc.
Provide financial support to the bid and estimation teams.
Provide feedback to the bid and estimation teams on actual project outturns so that estimation assumptions can be updated.
Preparation of stand-alone agreements.
Drafting of contractual correspondence and assisting in the preparation and settlement of contractual entitlements and claims.
Work closely with County Finance Managers and Country Commercial/Contracts Managers in overseeing and managing the project accounting activities in the MENAI Region ensuring they are consistently applied and compliant with Cape project accounting guidelines.
Summarise the top 10 major projects across the region and report to the Regional Management team.
Provide training to the Country Commercial/Contracts Managers to assist them to improve their knowledge and skill levels
Provide overview and support as required to the Country Procurement Managers.
Carry out ad-hoc commercial, risk management and compliance projects as required by the Regional Commercial Director.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you will have a credible background of at least 10 years’ experience in a similar position in an industrial sector, and possess a degree in quantity surveying and hold a professional body qualification such as MRICS or MCIOB.
