NTS Group are working in partnership with a leading multinational company to recruit a Director of Regional Communications MEA. The Director MEA Communications will split their time between supporting the MEA area and supporting a recent and significant project the business has got involved in.
MEA communications support:
Working directly with the Area Vice President (AVP), MEA to provide communications expertise, coaching and counsel to the AVP, and to develop, deliver and drive a robust MEA communications strategy that aligns with the International Region and Global company strategy. The Director will establish effective and appropriate communications channels for the MEA Area, and ensure that communications plans and messages are coordinated effectively with the communication leads in each market.
The Director will acts as communications functional lead in the Area, leading and influencing, sharing best practices, and building communications capabilities within MEAs Marketing Companies to ensure clear communications in support of International Region and Global priorities, capabilities and performance.
The Director will also provide reactive external communications support to the region as it relates to Area or MEA issues around sales and marketing practices, staffing/headcount, reputation and ethics, and other regional issues.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, marketing or similar liberal arts major (masters degree preferred)
- 6-10 years communications experience in corporate and/or government environment
- Substantial experience in healthcare communications/PR, including internal communications
- Multicultural experience and understanding required; global experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interact with, counsel and influence senior executives effectively
- Proven ability to develop and execute results-driven communications strategies that are aligned with business goals and objectives
- Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, resources, goals, and project initiatives
- Experience coordinating with communications professionals, vendors and agencies
- Strategic planning skills
