Regional Credit Controller

Job description / Role

Our client is looking to take on an experienced Regional Credit Controller. The successful candidate will take direct responsibility for credit management in the GCC. Candidates must be based in the UAE and have previous Credit Control experience for a multinational company.

Salary up to 35K AED + Standard Benefits

Responsibilities

Credit management in the GCC and overseeing credit policies, reporting and credit performance of the Middle East and North Africa
Drives the implementation, communication and flawless deployment & execution of the credit control function policies, procedures, processes and initiatives.
Responsible for the quality of the credit control reporting.
Provides sound financial leadership, advice & coaching
Ensures all aspects of the credit function including cash allocations, setting cash target and resolving complex queries, reducing debtor days and ensuring customer reconciliations are performed regularly by the credit control function by local staff.
Ensures full legal compliance for assigned area.
Strives for continuous improvement through implementing local process enhancements & sharing best practices.
Recognizes potential risks to the company.
Ensures within country management that credit controls systems are maintained which provide accurate information on entity and Business Area performance.
Supports and initiates optimization to assist in the improvement of quality, cost and profits.

Requirements

Finance qualification/ certification
Min. 7 years of experience in a senior credit control position within multinational company
Strong in intrinsic motivation, positive charisma, resourceful and pro-active
Strong organizational and change management skills
Absolute personal integrity, high reliability and identification with the Company
Good people leadership skills
Experience in working in a multinational, matrix driven organization
Analytical and process oriented
Arabic speaker a definite advantage
