Regional Credit Controller

We are currently looking for a Credit Controller to be based in our Dubai office and provide GCC wide support with collection activities. The Credit Controller will report to the Financial Controller for Projects under within the Project Accounting team.

The Credit Controller will be expected to assist Project Managers and Project Directors by developing and maintaining strong relationships with payables teams within client organisations around the region. In addition the Credit Controller will track the status of all outstanding debt and provide input into weekly receipt forecasts. Regional travel will be required from time to time.

Responsibilities
- Continuous drive towards reducing debt ageing with GCC;
- Develop relationships within client organisations to aid collections and accuracy of receipt forecasting;
- Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment;
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around expected payment timing of outstanding invoices;
- Providing collection forecasting information to internal departments

Requirements

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic;
- Excellent organisational skills, including ability to prioritise workload;
- Degree level or higher education;
- 5 to 8 years experience in AR or collections role within GCC;
- Proven experience of interacting with internal and external clients;
- Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment;
- Competence in Microsoft Office and accounting software programmes.
